To Kill a Mockingbird
In honor of the novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, I have changed the design layout of the webpage. Isn’t it beautiful? The bird is ADORABLE!
Wow, the blog has been neglected since the beginning of the school year. We are going to bring this baby back in celebration of our TKAM unit.
While you are enjoying your vacations, Ms. Jordan is working hard on having a TKAM festival. I will have the honor of seeing the production of To Kill a Mockingbird at Studio Arena (I saw the first 30 minutes but that story we will save for class) and attending the book discusssion! How I love this novel and I hope you will too!
I was just wondering about your break. What did you do? Did you have fun? I gave you some hints as to what I did during break so let me know what you did!

Please respond to the following quote:
“All conflict in literature is, in its simplest form, a struggle between good and evil.”
Please frame your response in the following manner:
- Give an interpretation of the quote by putting it into your own words. What does this quote mean?
- State whether you agree or disagree with the statement
- Use any novel that you have read and support your view on the statement with details from that text.
Remember to use “Ms. Jordan’s magical formula” and the ABC paragraph to help frame your response. Also, since I am a blog snob, I ask that proper grammar, spelling, and conventions are used. Remember to use specific scenes and details from the work to support your view!
